(insert tantrum about it being "unfair," how lonely and sad and hopeless I feel, and how much I don't want to do anything for anyone right now)

Hi Kate--
I am so very sorry you are afflicted with this. I know how you feel, even though I am a man. I, too, have PN. It is my rectum that is in constant burning pain. I am able to control it with medication (morphine), but it's still no way to live.

i have pudendal neurolgia and it took over a year to correctly diagnose. its the worst.

if anyone is going thru this, pls go get a hip mri!
my pt urged me to get one-even tho i had no hip pain- and it turned out she was right, i had a labral hip tear!!
My pt and my drs are convinced the hip tear is causing me to use the pudendal nerve too much- so now i am having laproscopic hip surgery soon to fix the tear and the drs are very optimistic this will heal my pudendal pain!! Wanted to share so no one has to go thru this
